ail for an afternoon from Vlieland, Ter­schel­ling or Ameland! Our tra­di­ti­o­nal clipper Willem Jacob and stevenaak Minerva are ideal for exploring the mudflats. You can steer yourself, but you can also enjoy the sur­roun­dings from one of the benches! The skipper and helmsman will explain to you how to sail. The trip takes about three hours. We have a jib and a mainsail that you can help set yourself. In calm weather, the jib and mizzen are also hoisted (only on the Minerva). The ships are real flat-bottomed ships, equipped with leeboards to prevent drifting? No idea what that means? No problem, the crew will be happy to explain it to you!
