Sailing Under the Stars with Overnight Stay

Ex­pe­rien­ce a special night on the Wadden Sea during this exclusive edition of Sailing Under the Stars. We depart at 8:00 PM or 7:00 PM for an un­for­get­ta­ble sailing trip where nature, astronomy, and pho­to­grap­hy come together.

During this trip, we seek out a quiet sandbank to run aground. As soon as the tide recedes, the silence of the Wadden comes to life. Far away from ar­ti­fi­ci­al light, you will ex­pe­rien­ce the night like you rarely do: with a vast starry sky, the sounds of nature, and the unique sensation of spending the night in the middle of the sea.

Because we have run aground and the ship is sta­ti­o­na­ry, you can fully ex­pe­rien­ce and pho­to­graph the ex­tra­or­di­na­ry celestial phenomena.

Our astronomy expert, Koen van den Driesche, will take you on a journey past con­stel­la­ti­ons, planets, and the stories behind the night sky. His ex­pla­na­ti­ons make this ex­pe­rien­ce ac­ces­si­ble to both novice star­ga­zers and ex­pe­rien­ced en­thu­si­asts.

In the morning, we prepare breakfast together and enjoy the first rays of sunlight over the Wadden. Around 11:00 we return to the mainland, with memories of a night you won't soon forget.
